Branding

Brand Foundation: Logotype and Brand Guide
The project began with developing the foundational branding for a new permanent makeup device created by Paulina Osinkowska, a renowned figure in the PMU industry. Known for her scientific methodology and global influence, Paulina’s objective approach set the tone for the brand’s identity. My task was to design a logotype and a comprehensive brand guide, ensuring the brand communicated professionalism and innovation.

The logotype for ‘Me’ was born from the brand’s user-centered philosophy, placing the individual at the heart of its identity.
To align with this minimalistic and personal approach, I decided to start from the most fundamental element in the permanent makeup universe: the dot.

This single dot, created by the needle’s stroke against the skin, represents the foundation of the craft. Using this as my starting point, I developed a type logo by manipulating this basic form. Through duplication, subtraction, and extension, the dot evolved into a cohesive and distinctive visual identity that reflects both simplicity and precision, key values of the brand.

This minimal yet meaningful design underscores the brand's mission of combining artistry with scientific precision, embodying its commitment to excellence in every detail.

Packaging Design and Manufacturing Coordination
The packaging design required meticulous attention to detail, including working with manufacturers to finalize the white color of the packaging—a surprisingly complex task. Through multiple proofs and adjustments, I ensured the packaging achieved the desired consistency. This stage also revealed the challenges of using anodized aluminum, as it proved difficult to match Pantone colors reliably.

To bring the product to life visually, I created 3D renders showcasing the device in six colors with two finishes: glossy and matte. A photoshoot with models was also scheduled to highlight the ergonomic design of the device in real-life scenarios, a key selling point not fully captured by renders alone. Collaborating with a 3D artist, I provided detailed briefings, including camera angles and metal texture specifications, ensuring the renders and animations aligned with the brand’s vision. My ability to work in 3D environments facilitated a seamless and productive pipeline.

With the branding established, the next step was to create a detailed product manual. This manual outlined the features, specifications, and instructions for using the wireless device. It was essential to maintain clarity and precision to match the high standards of the product.

Website Design and Implementation
The final phase was designing and implementing a Shopify-based website to showcase the completed branding, product details, and visual assets. This was my first time working with Shopify, and learning this CMS to create a professional online store was an exciting challenge. The website brought together all the assets, including the photoshoot images, 3D renders, and animations, to present the brand cohesively and effectively.

The Device
